Mr. Everett Dean Dietzel

Everett Dean Dietzel, 93, of Jamestown, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 25, 1922 near Sandy Hook, Missouri the son of John and Barbara (Schull) Dietzel. He attended Fairview School. Everett was a Veteran of World War 2 having served in the United States Army. Everett's wife Frances preceded him in death in 1991. Frances and Everett lived in the Kansas City area where he worked in the maintenance department servicing the heating and cooling systems of Folger's Coffee Plant until his retirement. Following his retirement, he moved back to Jamestown living next door to his sister for many years. He was a member of Nondenominational Christian Church. He loved attending Convention, hunting and fishing, and the fellowship of family and friends. In his later years, Everett loved and spoiled his dog Foxy. As Everett's health declined he was cared at home by his great-niece Christina Wyckoff. Everett is survived by: his daughter Patty (Gary) Nelson; 4 grandchildren, Aaron (Tammy) Nelson Roseau MN, Neisha (Justin) Vils Prairie du Sac WI, Shadon Nelson Minot ND, Bradley (Whitney) Nelson Hugo MN; 7 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Velma Dietzel and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: 7 brothers, Lee, Ray, Charles, Roy, Earl, Paul and Alvin Dietzel; one sister Rose H. Wyckoff.
