Lorna Lehman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lorna Hahn Lehman, 68, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by family. On July 11, 1953, in Bonne Terre, MO she was born to Aven and Pearl (Watson) Hahn. She married Michael Lehman at First Baptist Church of Doe Run and was married 39 years. Lorna attended Doe Run Elementary School was a graduate of Farmington High School and Mineral Area College. She was a certified professional secretary. She is survived by her husband Michael; children, Joshua Lehman, Michaela (Tom) Oakes; grandchildren, Ethan Fender, MaryJane, Ezra, Ezekiel, and Maximilian Oakes. As well as nephew Stephen Hahn; brother-in-law, David Burt; sister-in-law, Katie Burt. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Aven Hahn, Jr.; sister, Jane Burt; 2 nephews, Brian Burt and Aven Jackson Hahn, III. Lorna was a strong Christian woman and loved by all who knew her. She was an active member of her church and sang in the choir for many years. She was a skilled cake decorator and loved to bake. Her love for cooking led her to provide many meals for families, friends, and church funeral luncheons. She enjoyed getting together with her friends and loved her family. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Centralia, MO. She was an admitting clerk at Farmington Community Hospital. Upon graduation at Mineral Area College, she was a Secretary to the Dean of Occupational Education. She was employed at the Attorney General's Office for 32 years as a legal secretary. She then worked part-time for the law office of Todd Miller after retirement. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2022, 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, with Rev. Marcus Blair officiating. Interment will be at California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Baptist Church of Centralia.
